Check out my Video from Pride 2006. I love it. Oh yeah, and probably not moving back to New York as soon as we though. We are probably going to be moving to Minnesota for a few years first or something...cuz we didn't get the apartment we were supposed to...and I probably wont be going back to school ever(waste of 25,000 dollars) Woo Hoo isn't like grand.

Show Dates: May 5, 6, 12 and 13th, 2006 at Wilson Middle School 15th and Goddard

Directed by Mary Zaleski, Produced by Barb Rzucidlo, Musical/Vocal Director Matt Kush, Choreographed by Molly Zaleski and Holly Eggleston

Primarily looking for older teens and adults. No more than 10 kids will be cast for this production. Cast to capacity size of about 40.

Synopsis: Children of Eden is a sweeping musical adaptation of the Old Testament which examines the timeless conflict between parents and children. The show begins with the creation of the universe by God. He is powerful and just, but has been lonely. He takes great pride and pleasure in the companionship of his newly created children, Adam and Eve.

Life in the garden is, of course, perfect, day after day. But the one tree that Father commands Adam and Eve to stay away from seems to hold a magnetic attraction for Eve. She continues to go near it, and eventually, the Snake senses that Eve is ready for his song and dance. Eve falls for it, convinced that only unsophisticated losers are afraid to take risks.

Father is heartbroken, but still makes Adam choose whether to stay in the garden with Him, or leave for the unknown with Eve. Adam makes his choice and we follow him and his family through their life in the wilderness.

The story continues with future generations, in a multicultural world where the only ones who still listen to Father are Noah and his family. Father is determined to erase all the descendents of Adam’s son Cain from the earth, and save only Noah’s family, along with two each of each species of animal. Japheth, Noah’s youngest son, has announced Yonah to his choice for a wife. As a descendent of Cain, Noah will not allow her to journey with the family on the Ark. Japheth sneaks her along anyway; leading to a difficult decision that must be made when she is discovered.

The show is closed with God’s promise, a rainbow. And the reminder that each of us has the ability to make our own choices, and one of God’s most precious gifts, free will.
